Update only on new comment by any user

Great plugin.

Is there a way to auto update only on new comments.

I see the following options for refreshing comments on a page.

-user enters a new comment on the page and all comments are loaded
-all comments are refreshed at a set interval

How about if a user is viewing comments and a different user enters a comment. Is there a way to automatically refresh the comments?
