Update of Current Stock on Backorder

I’ve been using the trial version of Product Levels, using Gift Baskets Store, and noticed what is either a bug, or a logic error.

If I have a stock on Back order, then the current inventory shows as let’s say -1.

When I adjust the stock level of that item to say 8, then my inventory now shows as 8.. but in reality, I now have a stock level of 7.. not 8. This then affects the Bill of Materials, if I correctly show that my stock is 7.

Setting the Stock Quantity Value should reflect the number of stock that have been produced (made) not the new stock level.
