Update notifications for inactive plugins. Why?

If the plugin is inactive, why have it installed?

Maybe if you intend on using it in the near future?

Or maybe you were using it and only recently deactivated it?

Don’t throw anything at me, but I like the fact is shows which plugins need upgrading, even inactive ones ??

It doesn’t bother me that much. I just thought it was more logical.

You might consider reporting that to Trac if you are of the mind.
