Update Not safe for child users in multisite

  • We choose Hueman for our community of researchers (3363 blogs) and we made 2 child themes.
    One for our portals: domain.ext and en.domain.ext, es.domain.ext …
    One for Academics blogs: blog1.domain.ext., blog2.domain.ext … (489 blogs with Hueman)
    We were with version 3.2.9 and wordpress 4.6.1. By updating WordPress 4.7.1, we had the problem of customizing. So we updated Hueman 3.3.4
    And there, disaster (fortunately on a dev server):
    For the child theme portal:
    – domain.ext is ok
    – en.domain.ext have lost all the otpions and customization
    Super strange no?

    For the child theme for the academics blogs:
    They have all lost most options (colors, logo, sidebars …) and the customization.

    I am beginning to regret having to take months to choose this theme so much the updates bring us every time problems.

    Last small thing, we disabled the CSS customization function of WordPress 4.7.1 and what do I see? A CSS customization option in Hueman Advanced Options … :/

    Well, i’m going to go to github and study the diffs… ??

    Please provide system information which is found in Appearance -> About Hueman

    So… it was a very good alternative facts example =)
    We test on devel server, after that on preprod server and finally in production. We don’t know why, on devel we lost sometimes options of blogs. But finally, there is no relation with Hueman.
    We have made the updtae on preprod, and all is ok and works fine !
    So forget my first post.

    I want to share with you the experience with the presscutomizr support, which is very very great. Nico have contact us and have spend time to help us. This is really great and we appreciate a lot. Nico ! Thank you !
