Update mod_rewrite rules

  • Hi!!

    I′ve enabled the expert mode in caching. It appeared the “Update mod_rewrite rules” suggestion, updated and .htaccess file has been modified. I′ve checked it through cpanel and the rules are ok.

    But in WP dashboard, it keeps on appearing the “Update mod_rewrite rules” suggestion over and over again…is this the normal behavior with the plugin? Or once rules have been updated the suggestion should disappear?

  • WordPress must be having trouble reading those rules. I’m not sure why it’s not working for you but simple mode is just as fast in most cases if the notice annoys you.

    The notice is not important for me. If you say the expert mode is on and working well in spite of the notice, it′s ok. I was just worried about the proper functioning of the expert mode
