Hi — thanks so much for your plugin, it’s a great tool for guys like me who work with a lot of churches and other organizations.

I updated a bunch of things last night on one of my client sites (including PowerPress) and all of our players went away. On investigation, I realized that the audio tag had some CSS added to it which included visibility:hidden. I was able to override that in my theme CSS, but I’m wondering if there’s a way to tell PowerPress not to do that so I don’t have to worry that the class name will change or something with a future update.

Again, thanks for all the great work — let me know if you need more information to answer the question.

Log into the WordPress dashboard. Go to PowerPress >> Settings, Advanced Mode >> Media Appearance >> Having issues? and try the different options in the dropdown menu. See if one of them fixes the issues with displaying the media player.

What theme are you using? Can you duplicate the issue using a default twentyfifteen theme?

Thanks, guys — it doesn’t happen with Twenty Fifteen, so clearly it’s something about my parent (Point) or child theme. Thanks — I’ll have to figure this out on my own. Meantime, though, thanks for the responses and advice!

Just following up, did you get this figured out?

Hi — thanks for following up. For now, I’m just overriding the “visibility:hidden” CSS in the tag with “visibility:visible !important” in my CSS. Not my favorite thing to do, but it’s working for now. I need to go back through my theme and see if I added something a couple of years ago that I don’t remember, but I haven’t had time to do that.

If I figure it out, though, I’ll gladly add it to this thread.

Thanks again for checking in — you guys have a great plugin (and clearly great support, too)!
