I’m curious if this plugin allows me to set it to upgrade to new major versions, but I definitely do not want development or nightly builds, beta versions, etc. It’s not too clear whether choosing Major includes dev/nightly builds or not.

I’d love it if plugins could be segmented the same way, automatically updating minor versions, but not major versions.

Also, I noticed when I enabled it on v3.7.1, the Minor checkbox was not checked by default. I think it should be, since it’s enabled by v3.7+ core, that should be detected, no?

Congrats on this plugin making it into core, BTW, I didn’t know about it before, and I’m loving not having to worry about manual minor updates for the dozens of sites I manage.

It will only upgrade to dev/nightly builds if you have the WordPress Beta Tester plugin installed.

I’m thinking about to handle plugins and themes in a safer way – some plugins depend on certain WordPress versions, for example. Improvements here will be coming in a future release.

Thanks for pointing out that the Minor version checkbox wasn’t checked – I’ll get that fixed up!
