Update issues

  • I’m not sure what is going on here but after the update to 0.45.22 I am now getting fatal memory errors on a website; which I have never seen before. Can’t access the website or admin panel.

    If I go in through FTP and rename the “sermon-browser” plugin folder everything comes back to life without issues. How would I go about troubleshooting this? If the SB plugin is enabled my site it essentially goes offline completely.

  • You’re apparently almost maxing out the available memory before enabling Sermon Browser. I’ve heard the admin panel is a “resource pig”, can it be turned off?

    It’s been a while since i have had to get my hands dirty with WP except this one site but that question confuses me a bit. How do you add your sermons or any content without the admin panel enabled?

    I’m also still not understanding the memory errors. It seems to be maxing on 50MB but the PHP config on the server states 128MB limit. I tried forcing WP to 128MB in the config file but no luck there. Plugins telling me server data all say limit is “-1” for some reason but it looks like my usage is right around 46MB. I really don’t have much running but I cleaned up a few things and have SB enabled right now…
