Update Issue

    Tried to update Virtue theme (up to 2.5.4.) and it seemes update was succesfull. But when I navigating to site to any page from main I get an error /wp-content/themes/virtue/functions.php on line 10

    Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ” (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php55/lib/php’)

    Line 10 in functions.php is

    require_once locate_template(‘/themeoptions/framework.php’); // Options framework

    How can it be fixed?

  • I updated the theme manually just to stop the update nag.

    ok, if your site can’t remove the old version then you have a permissions issue somewhere. It could be folder/file permissions or php user permissions. with you being on a local it’s hard to guess and you can’t just contact a host and ask.

    OK – it’s strange that it’s just Virtue that won’t update correctly though.

    Did you start by manually installing or did you install from www.remarpro.com?

    Because the file size is more then 2mb and if you had to manually install at the start I suppose it’s possible those file permissions got off. Did you check?

    As far as I remember, it was manually installed.
