• I use this plugin for a number of sites, it was wonderful until the update!

    There is a serious problem with how it interacts with javascript and the mailer. Switching to an smtp plugin solved only 1/2 of the problem. The mail now submits but the javascript arrows never stop churning, ever!!

    I am not quite afraid up updating the plugin on my other sites. Please investigate!

    Please be aware that smaller sites cannot simply turn off all their plugins and switch to a generic theme, they lack the resources (people and $) to have a true development site. Adding a development site on a shared server often means turning on multisite which then has to be uninstalled, rather ripped out, of the server.

    Update: I tried to go back to the former version and am now receiving the error:

    Fatal error: Class ‘WPCF7_FormTagsManager’ not found in /home/organ138/public_html/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7-mailchimp-extension/lib/tools.php on line 114

    Am using the following mail related plugins:
    => Contact Form 7
    => Contact Form 7 MailChimp Extension
    => Easy WP SMTP

    My theme is Elegant themes: Chameleon
    WordPress version is 4.7.2

    Please help!

    Thank you!

    Miyoshi-san.

    As I said in my previous message that option is often not feasible for smaller sites.

    Since your software is the only thing that changed (not WP version or the theme) did your javascript calls change at all?

    Kind regards,

    ELB
