Update internal links before or after transferring to a new domain

    I am planning to move my wordpress website to a new domain. I want to take the opportunity to update some of the blog post titles (and slugs/links) on my blog posts to more relevant and engaging titles.

    Should I update these titles and links before or after I do the transfer in order to minimize impact on SEO?

  • Either is fine but you will have to add redirects in Google search console if you change slugs. That will maintain your SEO for those posts. ??
