Update has given error and cant get into sites

  • Ive just done the update! What a mistake, I should have waited. Anyway I get this error

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Custom_Background in /home/latres/public_html/cairnsportdouglas.org/wp-admin/custom-background.php on line 16

    any ideas? Help please..

    yea, I just restored a back up from a week ago. I think ill leave the update right alone..

    You can backup your database again and update. It is better to do the update of WP because now all your plugins, theme, etc. will be updated by their respective authors and there can be problems caused by such changes, and while you update plugins, etc. you may face more problems. So, it is better to do the WP update now.
