Doesn’t seem like it..
I just had 2 client sites break on updates – even with Hide My WP deactivated it was changing URLs, and causing fatal errors throughout WP. Having it on broke a bunch of JS/Google API calls/URLs – when I tried to deactivate, change the db entry, or rename the folder, it would break the entire site.
I spent 8+ hours today getting WP to work correctly / figuring out how to deactivate. :/
I run Hide my WP on a lot of websites, I need to update them all – but now I’m stuck because of this situation. What are we meant to do?!
