The update button in Gravity Forms no longer functions. After making changes to a form, I hit the update button, and no change happens in the editor nor on the page where the form is hosted.

After using WP’s Troubleshooting plugin, I was able to isolate the “Multiple Columns for Gravity Forms” as the culprit. With Troubleshooting mode enabled, I can disable the “MCFGF” and the form works correctly. I tested across a default theme and our custom theme and had the same results.

I’m using Gravity Forms 2.4.20 and WP 5.5.1.

Can you take a look? Thanks.

    Hi @matthewdavistp,

Thank you for the message, and apologies for any issues that have appeared due to the update of the plugin.

Would it be possible to send an export of your form (form export instructions: https://docs.gravityforms.com/exporting-a-form-from-gravity-forms/) to [email protected]?

If possible, a report from the Gravity Forms -> System Status would be useful to see the other plugins, versions, and PHP version, etc.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

    Kind regards.

Thanks for the response. Emailed both the exported form and the system status.

I’m running into a similar situation, unable to make changes to forms with mcfgf enabled, and am interested in a solution. Running multisite using different themes/plugins with the common denominator being the updated mcfgf plugin.

Clicking the update button produces this error for the page:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘apply’ of undefined
    at Object.doHook (gravityforms.min.js?ver=2.4.20.4:1)
    at Object.applyFilters (gravityforms.min.js?ver=2.4.20.4:1)
    at ValidateForm (admin.php?page=gf_edit_forms&id=1:3064)
    at SaveForm (admin.php?page=gf_edit_forms&id=1:3078)
    at HTMLInputElement.onclick (admin.php?page=gf_edit_forms&id=1:2560)

If I click into the Row Start element, this warning is also added:

[DOM] Found 2 elements with non-unique id #field_single_custom_label: (More info: https://goo.gl/9p2vKq)
    <input type=”text” value id=”field_single_custom_label”>

    Hi @jhprince,

Thank you for sending us notification of the suspected Multiple Columns plugin issue.

Would it be possible to send an export of a form (https://docs.gravityforms.com/exporting-a-form-from-gravity-forms/) that is experiencing this problem, and a Gravity Forms System Status report (https://docs.gravityforms.com/checking-environment-details/) to [email protected]?

    Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

    Kind regards.

    Hi @matthewdavistp & @jhprince,

Thank you so much for your help Matthew.

It would appear that there is an issue with Gravity Forms No-Conflict Mode being set to On and the operation of the plugin. Please set No-Conflict to Off in the Gravity Forms -> Settings area, and then the updates should function as normal.

Please @jhprince can you try making the change detailed above and seeing if that resolves the issue.

    Kind regards.

I’ve turned off No-Conflict Mode and forms do update on multiple sites that use that plugin combination.

Is there any longterm issue with having it disabled?

Thanks for your time and quick attention!

    Hi @jhprince,

Thank you for the feedback regarding your forms and the No-Conflict Mode GF setting.

This issue will be investigated, and hopefully resolved in an upcoming release.

Thank you so much for using the plugin, and for your patience while we were looking into this.

Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.

    Kind regards.

    @webholism

Thank you for all of your help with this. I was also running into the same issue and your “quick fix” to turn the no-conflict mode to “off” fixed the problem. I am hoping you can resolve this in your upcoming release so it will work with this when the no-conflict mode is set to “on” or “off”. But I sincerely thank you for your help and quick attention to it. ??

    Cheers,
