update from version 2.33 to 2.33.2 not working

    On several sites I experience a loop while updating the plugin to the latest version. Having installed version 2.33 WordPress reports the new version 2.33.2.

    Using the native update functionality the update runs successfully but returning to the plugin list the version is still 2.33 and the update notice is shown again.

    Do you still have this problem? 2.34.0 is the latest version at the time of writing this reply btw.

    @eskapism Sorry just saw reply. Came back here because now it won’t update again. IIRC, last time I wiped out plugin and just installed newest one from scratch.

    Currently:
    “You have version 2.33 installed. Update to 2.35.1.”

    Just keeps repeating it needs an update. It seems to update fine/no errors.
    But when you refresh updates or plugins page, nope. Still there.

    That’s so weird, I have never seen this myself. Do you have any other plugins installed or do you have any cache plugin installed, for example some kind of object cache?
