Update from v5.5.0 to v5.6.0 (with Pro v3.8.0 activated) crashes site

We had automatic updates enabled and almost all of our clients’ websites (~40) crashed after we updated the free version from v5.5.0 to v5.6.0.
It seems that the error occurs in combination with OMGF Pro v3.8.0. When I deactivate the plugin, the frontend works again, but it is not possible to log in. We rolled back to v5.5.0 as a quick fix, but I would like to ask for a timely solution, as many websites are affected.Here you can find further information from the debug.log:
