    Hi Daan,

We had automatic updates enabled and almost all of our clients’ websites (~40) crashed after we updated the free version from v5.5.0 to v5.6.0.
It seems that the error occurs in combination with OMGF Pro v3.8.0. When I deactivate the plugin, the frontend works again, but it is not possible to log in. We rolled back to v5.5.0 as a quick fix, but I would like to ask for a timely solution, as many websites are affected.

Here you can find further information from the debug.log:

I’m aware of this issue and I’m currently looking into it.

Updates for OMGF Pro are supposed to be blocked, until OMGF is running at the latest version. But it appears that’s no longer the case.

Judging from the stack strace, OMGF Pro was updated before OMGF, causing the issue.

Just to verify, when you say 5.5.0, you mean 5.5.6, right? Because that was the latest version prior to this release.

Thanks for the prompt reply. We’ve rolled back to the stable minor release v5.5.0 just in case. But v5.5.6 is working correctly also.

I’ve tried to remove the Pro version, update the Free version and install the Pro version again, but the order doesn’t affect the error. OMGF v5.6.0 free without the Pro version activated is working, though.

So, just update to v5.5.6 and then manually install OMGF Pro v3.8.0. That should do it. Have you tried that?

    Hi Daan,

It works, but you have to remove the Pro version first and the re-install it. Deactivating and re-activating only does not help.

Okay, happy you managed to get it resolved! And sorry about the hassle. Let’s say; lessons learned. ??
