• Some time ago i purchased a paid Plugin called “RA Simple Sites” Version 0.1 from Ron Rennick to use Domain Mapping for a WPMU Installation. At that time the plugin seemed to me as a good choice because it had support and a very good documentation. It worked up to WP 3.0. Now after I upgraded to WP 3.2.1 the mapping still works, but the option to create new mappings doesn’t show up.

I searched a litte bit, but it seems that the further support of this plugin (RA Simple Sites) is only possible with a paid membership. Or if I understand it right there are follow up paid plugins that are called “Networks+” and “Professional Domain Mapping“. Because my sites are a litte private project the membership is too expensive for my needs and I’m a little bit confused about the Networks+ or Professional Domain Mapping plugin and wich one I should/could use. Beside of this these two new plugins seems to do more than I need!?

Now I wonder if there is a way to move over to the “normal” WordPress MU Domain Mapping plugin to administer my sites. I already tried to install this plugin and it seems to work, but I don’t now how I can import the already existing mappings from the old “RA Simple Sites” Plugin.

    Has anybody some ideas?

Networks+ is the 3.0 and newer version of Simple sites. Pro Domain Mapping is the current version of the domain mapping you purchased.

You can purchase lifetime support (one time fee) for one or both at https://wpebooks.com/.

You cannot purchase a support subscription for these at https://musupport.net. We’ve phased that out in favor of the one time fee.
