When updating from LP-4.2.6.9.1 to any of the newer version of Learnpress updates available, the links to Learnpress in the Admin Dashboard Menu disappears. The Learnpress submenus also disappear. Also if I go to edit existing Courses it doesn’t show anything under Curriculum (no lesson plans, etc)

I deactivated all plugins and added them one at a time and there are NO plugin conflicts.

Also I have another site that has virtually the same configuration, theme and plugins and that site works fine.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi kinderdance,

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention.

We have followed the process you described and tested it thoroughly, as shown in this video. However, we couldn’t replicate the problem you mentioned.

Could you please try re-downloading the LearnPress plugin from?here?and uploading it again to see if this resolves the issue?

If the problem persists, or if we haven’t fully understood your situation, please provide a clearer description along with screenshots or a video (if possible). This will help us identify the issue more accurately and offer a precise solution.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

    Best regards,

The issue still persists. Also I tried using a different Theme and that didn’t fix the issue. So no Plugin conflict and no theme conflicts. I will try to attach an image.

    Hi kinderdance,

Thank you for your quick response.

Could you please let us know how you updated the LearnPress plugin? Did you update it directly from the Dashboard -> Plugins (as shown?here), download and upload it manually from the?WordPress plugin repository, or was it a backup version that you restored?

This information will help us better understand the situation and replicate the issue more accurately for a precise solution.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

    Hi kinderdance,

    Thank you for reaching out.

We resolved the issue for that customer by following the steps we previously shared with you. Specifically, we downloaded the latest version of the LearnPress plugin and re-uploaded it to their site. This successfully fixed the problem they were experiencing.

We recommend trying this approach again on your site. If the issue persists or you’re unable to resolve it, we strongly encourage you to create a support ticket on our forum. Our team will conduct a more thorough investigation directly on your site to identify the root cause and provide an accurate solution.

I ended up having to start a whole new WordPress Install and new database then did a Updraftplus migration of the Plugins, Database, Theme. Lastly I did an FTP for the uploads folder since that was a large folder. Once this was done I was able to update to Learnpress 4.2.7 without issue. My guess is that I had either corrupt files in the old site OR in the database. The old database (thru the host) was using Mysql 5.7 and the new database with the new install is running on MariaDB 10.6. Just a theory since I am not sure how it was fixed but I am glad that it all works now.
