Update from 2.3.3 to 2.5 crashes WP

  • When I update Draft List from 2.3.3 to 2.5, my site crashes with the following error:

    PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘)’ in E:\HostingSpaces\hist4h\News.4-HHistoryPreservation.com\wwwroot\wp-content\plugins\simple-draft-list\inc\class-draftlistwidget.php on line 79

    The only way to get it back is to delete the 2.5 update and reinstall 2.3.3.

    I’m running WP 5.6

    Ideas or suggestions?

    Ah, I think I know what this is, as I’ve seen it before with another plugin.

    The WP version isn’t relevant but your version of PHP is – one previous or later and this doesn’t occur!

    I’ll put out a new version as soon as I can to fix this.

    Version 2.5.1 has now been released – let me know if this resolves the problem.
