This problem also applies to Bayleaf version 1.4.2.

    result:
(content of) pages and submenus disappear (main-navigation menus are still shown)

    steps to reproduce:
    – update theme without installing recommended additional plugins (not being installed before)

    steps already done:
    – removed existing .css modifications in ‘WP Additional CSS section’
    – switched from childtheme to original theme
    – (re)saved menu navigation structure

    environment:
    wordpress 5.3 (en) (fresh installation)

I have followed your steps (changed to WP standard theme, deleted old Bayleaf themes, activated new Bayleaf version) and can confirm that it works (again). Thanks for your quick feedback as well as the quick update.
