  • Same problem. Loaded wordpress 3.8.1. When Page Builder plugin is activated, I have no access to a new page, post, previous page or previous post. When Page Builder is deactivated, I have now access to a new page or post, and can work on drafts.

Looking for an update here. Any ideas out there on the issue. Still persist when all other plugins are disabled.

I too am having this problem. I just downloaded the Vantage theme and Page Builder plugin, and everything works perfectly except for when I go to update posts or pages. I can work on drafts, but if I try to save the drafts or preview them, I get the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_slash() in /home/content/06/11291806/html/wp-content/plugins/siteorigin-panels/siteorigin-panels.php on line 358

It turns out that the wp_slash function that Page Builder is using was only added in WordPress 3.6. This means updating to the latest version of WordPress should fix the issue. It’s probably a good idea to update to the latest version of WordPress either way.

I’ll add a fix to the next update of Page Builder so it keeps supporting older versions of WordPress.

If updating to the latest version of wordpress should fix the issue then why is that the reason it caused the issue? I am running 3.8.1.

True. I updated also to WordPress 3.8.1 and that’s when the problem occured.

Sorry, I was addressing @misssophisticate’s problem – which is related to older versions of WordPress.

Can either of you access your server PHP error logs and see if you’re getting an error anywhere in Page Builder’s code.

Can you also check if you’re getting any Javascript errors in the Page Builder interface.
