update failed/Destination folder already exists

  • I am having issues installing the plugin, whenever trying to install I get an error saying “Updated Failed” or an error that says “Destination Folder Already Exists”. I re-downloaded the latest version of wordpress but still having the same issues. Any assistance is appreciated!

    Try to delete the Types Folder in your FTP manually.

    Then, re-download it from your account and upload it (unzipped) to your FTP.

    Then, you should be able to activate it without any issues
