Update Failed: The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy

    Will not complete update. Get the following message:

    “Update Failed: The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions.”

    All other plugins update on my server just fine, only this one has an issue.

    Hi,

    File permissions are a server issue, you need to contact your web hosting provider to fix this. Although in the case of this plugin, you can try just deleting the plugin (this won’t remove the data associated with it, it’s safe to delete) and then reinstall it so it install the latest version. Alternative is to use FTP to upload the latest copy of the plugin files.

    Yes, I know file permissions are a server issue.

    If you read my issue, you would see your plugin is the ONLY ONE out of 13 that will not update. There are no server logs showing any file permission issues.

    I will delete and find another. Thanks.
