When I try to edit one of my PAGES, using yoast seo, when I try to save and publish im getting error: Update failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.
This is not happening on my recipes or POSTS even tho they use yoast seo.

Here is snippet of error log:

    [06-Jan-2025 08:24:10 UTC] WordPress database error Commands out of sync; you can’t run this command now for query SELECT * FROM wp_users WHERE user_login = ‘admin’ LIMIT 1 made by wfLog->logHit, wfLog->logHitOK, get_current_user_id, wp_get_current_user, _wp_get_current_user, apply_filters(‘determine_current_user’), WP_Hook->apply_filters, wp_validate_logged_in_cookie, wp_validate_auth_cookie, get_user_by, WP_User::get_data_by

I have already wnet thru troubleshooting: https://www.kadencewp.com/blog/how-to-troubleshoot-your-website/

When I disable kadence blocks, there is no error. Once I enable it back, error comes back.
    no luck.

    Hi there!

Glad you reached out to us. I’m here to help.

The error message “Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response” is a common issue in WordPress, especially when saving changes in the Gutenberg editor. Typically, flushing your permalinks will fix the issue:

    1. Go to?Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks.
    2. Click the “Save Changes” button right away.

If this didn’t resolve the issue for you, could you check your browser console log after saving the element? If you see any texts printed out there, take a screenshot and send it to me. Here’s our guide on how to check your browser console:?<u>How to View Console Log Errors</u>

Since you have an error related to database sync and user login, check your server’s PHP error logs for any additional messages or warnings that could point to an issue with the database or server configuration and send it to us here.

Let me know how I can assist you further.

@karlalevelup I did all of those steps. no result unfortunately. One very important thing i must say:

Have a look at image: https://postimg.cc/F1HJxsCF/04702365

Only, when i tick show_unique in post carusel properties, only then error disperses and I can update page. Unfortunately that does not work for all type of pages, only for some.

    Hi!

    Thanks for the additional information.

I don’t see an issue with the Show Unique option in the Posts block – https://share.zight.com/Z4uEk7dj. I can update and reload the edit page for any post type I select.

Do you see any errors on your browser console log while on the edit page screen? If you do, take a screenshot and send it to me here.

    Hey there,

I tested the Posts Block on my local environment and also couldn’t reproduce the issue at hand. If you create a new Page and add a Posts Block with the Show Unique Posts option enabled, does the same issue occur on the new page?

Can you try checking for a Plugin Conflict? You mentioned that the issue goes away whenever you deactivate Kadence Blocks. There may be another plugin conflicting with Kadence Blocks.

You can check for a Plugin Conflict by doing the following:
-Deactivate all non-Kadence Plugins on the website.
-Clear your Caches and see if the issue occurs.
-If the issue doesn’t occur, then another plugin would conflict with ours. In this case, you can reactivate each plugin on your website one by one. Each time you activate a plugin, clear your caches and see if the issue continues. Once the issue begins to occur after activating a specific plugin, then that plugin is conflicting with ours.

Please let us know if you find a conflicting plugin. You can also consider opening a Kadence Support Ticket referencing this thread. If we find a conflict/bug on our end, we can keep you up to date with the progress of the issue at hand via a support ticket.

Please let us know your results. Thanks!

I created empty page under “Przepisy”, yes I can edit save whatever. Once I place Post grid block with my recipes, I cannot no longer save, unless I tick option show unique.

Yes, I did disable plugins one by one and and nothing changed. I Did clear cache every time.

All plugins are up to date. PHP version is 8.2.

Please help me with this, because I need to have this website working.

    Hi there!

    Thanks for the screenshot.

What we would want to see is the error message from the browser console. Watch this as your reference on how to check it: https://share.zight.com/ApuoGWEw

If you see error 403 messages (like these: https://share.zight.com/L1u2Olej), the issue can be fixed by reaching out to your website’s hosting provider:

    1. Send the 403 error screenshots and the description on when it happens.
    2. Ask them to check your firewall or ModSecurity settings; if there are rules that could be preventing WordPress API requests for updating pages.

If you didn’t see 403 errors, still send us a screenshot so we can better assess what the issue on your website is.

Let me know how I can help you further.

    @karlalevelup @victormonk Hi Guys !

Do you have maybe some more information regarding my issue ?

    Hi there!

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you here.

The “Post Carousel” block you sent is not from our Kadence Blocks plugin. Do you have another plugin that adds other set of blocks?

I would recommend reaching out to their support team to better assist you with their block.

On the other hand, have your hosting provider check your config file and disable the “WP_SCRIPT_DEBUG” constant if that’s enabled.

Let me know if we can assist you further with this.

Otherwise, I’ll mark this topic as resolved tomorrow.
