Update Failed: Download failed. cURL error 28

Just attempted 3rd and 4th time.
On the fourth try, the plugin updated.
Curious.

just deactivate all plugins, then activate only the one needs to update.
activate all plugins back when done…works for me.

I am not able to update the wordpress site as well as any of the plug in. The updaft plus plug is not working to take regular backups.

I am having the same problem – and am only able to upldate the core and plugins manually. Once I have done so it still tells me that they are out of date inspite of the fact the version they are telling me to update to is also stated as the version I am running suggesting that the information is simply not being transmitted as to what is actually operating at the time. We don’t have https would that be an issue perhaps? Any ideas would be helpful – thanks.

It may be your W3 Total Cache issue I guess. Please deactivate plugin for sometime and also delete its data which is with uploads folder ( 1 file and 1 folder u need to be delete)

I got that issue. Please contact with your hosting support. port 80 is blocked by server because there is some malicious code in your website files
