    I am having the exact issue! I’m guessing it started about 10-12 hours ago. The top of my website says “q”

    I was running a one-day sale and now I cannot take any of the sale down.

    This is the error that showed up when trying to update my site Hello theme:

    Update failed: q{“success” true,”data” {“update”: “theme”, “slug”:”hello-elementor”, “oldVersion”:”3.0.1″, “newVersion”.:”3.0.2″}}

    When I try to update anything (theme, plugin, elementor, plugin tasks like rollback versions), it gives very similar code. I am not able to go into Elementor to edit anything, not even the safe editing mode. I can’t update any plugins, or, in short, change anything on the backend. Typically there is a plugin update that has some bugs in it and I would troubleshoot by deactivating and seeing if that improves anything.

    But with this issue, no way! I think if I deactivate anything, I won’t be able to reactivate!

    This is my website that is having the issue: https://cowfriendsoap.com

    Why the sudden change? Everything was running smoothly until something happened. Were you just as surprised, @samuelng527 ?

    @samuelng527 – do you use the Code Snippets plugin? I get emails with any plugins that I’ve allowed to be automatically updated. That’s the only one that was updated maybe around time of the website issues. I got that email notification 5/27/24 at 9:46 PM MST.

    Says it updated it from version 3.6.4 to 3.6.5

    Again, I don’t dare deactivate it yet in case I can’t get it back on.

    Hi @abenson25

    Yes, the issue was caused by Code Snippets plugin. I have deleted it and re-installed the plugin 3.6.5. Issue resolved.

    Hey @samuelng527!

    I’m glad the issue is solved.

    Thank both you and @abenson25 for sharing the solution here and contributing to the WooCommerce Community. This might help other users in the future.

    Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help or if you have any questions.

    Have a wonderful day!
