    Word fence will not update

    Message:

    Update Failed: <!DOCTYPE html> Maintenance Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute.

    I’ve been checking back for a while now with no change

    Close topic.
    This cleared up when I updated to WP 4.7.3
