When trying to update the plugin, I get the error “Update Failed: Username/Password incorrect for username” even though the correct password is in the WordPress config file. All other updates for WordPress and every plugin works fine except for All in One SEO Pack. I tried to delete it and reinstall but it won’t let me do that either. Does the plugin store the password someplace where I can possibly go in and check to be sure it’s correct?

    Thanks.

I’m not sure what username/password you’re referring to. AIOSEOP doesn’t store any login information.

Can you post a screenshot of the issue you’re having?

I figured it out, kind of. I went to the wp-admin/update-core.php page and change from FTP over SSL to regular FTP and it immediately went to a page that said ALL In One SEO Pack updated successfully. I’m not sure why all of the other plugins were ok with SSL and this one was not, but at least it’s up to date now.

Updating is handled entirely by WordPress. All in One SEO Pack (and any other plugin) isn’t involved in the process.
