    I thought I would add, that I then deleted the old version and the installed the new version, that was OK, so it was the update procedure that is faulty.

    Looks like it wasn’t happy with Revolution Slider plugin.

    Do you still have that problem with Revolution Slider plugin?
    I don’t have this plugin so I cannot reproduce the issue.

    No, as I said, I deactivated your plugin, deleted it and the files, and installed the new version. That worked OK.

    For now, all is OK.
