Hi, I don’t know if this is caused directly by your plugin, but I thought I’d touch base just in case, because you plugin’s name is mentioned in the error message. I have received the following:

Updates were not installed for the following items:

    1. Website "site-name" (https://mydomain.tld): Failed to reset cache for the instance #2: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 32768 bytes) in /home/mysite/public_html/wp-content/plugins/cookie-law-info/public/modules/shortcode/shortcode.php on line 272 Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 32768 bytes) in /home/mysite/public_html/wp-includes/pomo/streams.php on line 180

The PHP version is 8.0, the WP_MEMORY_LIMIT is set to 256M, and I have been using WP-Rocket for caching, in case any of that helps.

Would you kindly review and advise?

    Thank you.

    Hi @skredlemon,

    Greetings from Webtoffee!

Optimizing our plugin JS and CSS is not a good idea. Since you are using WP-Rocket there is a chance of adding optimizations. Kindly exclude the below files of our plugin from optimization.

    Javascript

    Cli_Data
    cli_cookiebar_settings
    ccpa_data
    /cookie-law-info-public.js
    /cookie-law-info-ccpa.js

    CSS

    /cookie-law-info-public.css
    /cookie-law-info-gdpr.css
    /cookie-law-info-table.css

It could also happen due to memory exhaustion. Please try increasing the memory limit on your site and check. You can follow this link, which aids you in increasing your WordPress memory limit.
