    Hello ?? Great plugin.

After I finish the styling, and click on update, I get this message “The link you followed has expired. Please try again.”

So can’t update the changes I’ve made.

    Can you help?

    Thanks

I’m sorry about the time you are spending with this issue. I’m fairly new to WordPress. I’ll read everything you sent me again and will figure it out.

    Appreciate all your help ??

    Thank you so much.

indeed, more the reason to follow the instructions ??

read the tutorial once more, and make sure you configure your installation with the same value.

I understand if you have no time. Please tell me, and won’t bother you anymore ??

I already checked everything, made all the changes in the tutorial and still get that message.

can you tell me what values you set for

    upload_max_filesize
    post_max_size
    max_execution_time

you can see the values that being set by following these instructions to get a printout of the actual values being used by your website.

    upload_max_filesize 16M 16M
    post_max_size 8M 8M
    max_execution_time 60 60

you haven’t set the values as per the tutorial link I sent you:

Well, this time I did. Since it didn’t work with the wp.config, I also inserted in the functions.php.

Yes, some installations don’t allow changes from within WP, and I reckon if it did not work from wp-config, it won’t work from functions.php file either.

it is showing the correct values now?

If not you will need to update your php.ini configuration file for your server

    Thread Starter ptweet

    (@ptweet)

Yes, I tried it also ??
    Since I’m on a shared server, I created a php.ini

    Same values as before.
    upload_max_filesize 16M 16M
    post_max_size 8M 8M
    max_execution_time 60 60

even on a shared server you should be able to setup a php.ini for your site.

    Same values as before.

You’ll need to reach out to your support.

    Thanks for all your help.

    Do you do custom work?

I need to resolve some minor issues in the website, and there are things that go beyond what I can do. It’s a premium theme from Themeforest, and they take 2 or 3 days to reply.

I’m talking about this particular issue that we’ve been discussing, plus some responsive items that are not responsive, and two or three more small things.

Please tell me if you do it, and how much do you charge.

    HI @ptweet

    Do you do custom work?

sure, although you’ll likely be able to find cheaper than me if you’re looking to do work on your theme ??

you can reach out to me on “vrata at syllogic dot in” and we can discuss this further

    I assume this now resolved

    Hi @aurovrata

I do hope you are well?

I’m having the same issue ??

I had created a contact form 7 a week or so ago that needs to connect to an external API to let the user start a free trail.

So I had quite a couple of plugins that I played around with to get connected to the API and found one two days ago. So I deleted all the other plugins for contact form 7 which I had previously installed and installed the new one.

Since this, when I hit update it sends me the same error.

I have increased the size on my .php file and still same error.

I don’t have access to the root file, but could request it, but would of liked to fix this issue before needing to contact the owner…
