[Update] EasyPayPal 2.0 Released

  • EasyPayPal allows you to make money from your WordPress site by collecting a subscription payment from your users.

    New Features:

    1) Hide text from non-subscribers with [pay][/pay] tags. Use “teasers” in your posts.
    2) Create instant PayPal buttons in any post with simple [paybutton] tags.
    3) Charge fees for content authoring, triggered from the post editor page. Perfect for job boards.
    4) Create custom subscription pages with multiple subscription options.
    5) Create pay-per-view post text. Hide text and links behind ‘Buy Now’ buttons.

  • An excellent idea. Great job. Now, if I only had a need for this plugin. Maybe it would be useful in a tech support blog I’m thinking about setting up.

    One idea for a tech support blog: Write an original “How To” article. Provide an excerpt of the article in your post, and then put the rest behind a [paybutton].

    You could also use this as a way to charge for tech support. Instead of subscribing to the blog, your users would actually be purchasing tech support and providing their contact information through WP.
