    Hi Tobias,

I’ve started a new website and installed TablePress directly from the “Add Plugins” page. It installed v1.6.1.

I was unable to upload any images to the cells. I tried .png, .gif and .jpg with no luck. So I deactivated and reactivated – still couldn’t upload images.

I tried deactivating all other plugins – no luck.

I then deleted TablePress completely and uploaded an older version 1.4, and voila! It worked. I was able to upload images.

However I just updated again to the new version, and once again I can’t upload images. Will have to delete this updated version and start over again with v1.4.

    Thought you should know.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

No, please don’t do that. Staying on v1.4 is no option! There are other bugs in that old version.

Please try with just TablePress 1.6.1 and also after switching to a WordPress default theme like TwentyFifteen. It might be your theme that’s interfering, if it’s not the other plugins.

Also, please post some more details about what the issue looks like. Are you getting error messages?

    Regards,
    Tobias

OK I just switched to Twenty-Fifteen and tried again without success.

What happens is that I click on the link to insert image. Click on the cell which opens the media library. I select the image and click the button to Insert into Table, but nothing happens. No errors. It just doesn’t do anything.

    Hi,

weird, that sounds like a JS error then.

Do you see anything in the JS error log console in the browser maybe (reachable via the browser’s setting menu)?

If not, if possible, I’d like to take a direct look at this on your site. Could you therefore please create a temporary admin account for me and send me the details via email (the address is in the main plugin file “tablepress.php”)? That way, I can investigate this directly. Thanks!

    Regards,
    Tobias
