Update delay and Login screen

    The delay occurs bcoz it updates the db & refresh the whole page to display new values. At first this was implemented using Ajax where only bid values were getting incremented but there were some issues with that implementation.

    As far as login screen, it is theme dependent which changes with each theme, so it kinds of falls out of scope. You can definitely send an email to your existing customers highlighting your auction feature & encouraging them to start bidding upon register.

    do you have to have a separte login screen for visitors to register?

    To enable register form, go to your admin dashboard -> Settings -> General -> Find “Membership” field & check “Anyone can register”.

    This will then display register link near your login form i.e. (https://xyz.com/wp-login.php)
