Update data base

    I just update my redirection plugin to the last version, I get an message that I need to update my database to the last version 4.2. Do I just need to click on database update and it will do it automatically, also I have wordpress 4.9.13.
    I want to be sure that doesn’t create a problem with redirected post if I update a database before wordpress.

    Yes, click the button to upgrade the plugin. As with any upgrade you should follow the instructions and make a backup.

    THis update WordPress database loop (update>continue>no update needed) just started happening to me, too.

    I had installed a contact form plugin that turned out to be costly, so uninstalled. WordPress couldn’t complete the uninstall and that’s when the database loop began.

    Plugin is Gravity Forms

    Basically, I now have 2 extra clicks forward or back for everything I try to do in the dashboard.
