I updated the plugin to current version but it keeps crashing the site. Please look into this.

@nnagarajan7 Thank you for reporting this issue. SVN ignored the testimonials widget folder and that causes the issue.
Please download this version directly from the git repo in the meantime I am working on the fix.

@nnagarajan7 I have released the 4.0.1 version of the plugin which should fix the issue you mentioned above. Please update the plugin to the latest version and let me know your feedback.

Also, don’t forget to read about the plugin as this is a major release and we have released the Testimonials Widget Premium plugin as part of WordPress Plugin contribution so that everyone can take the benefits of its all the feature.

seems to work but now there is a constant nag message that cannot be cleared:

Plugin “Testimonials Widget Premium” requires license activation for software updates and support. Please activate the license via Testimonials Widget > Settings, Premium tab, License Key. See Where’s my license key? for help. Alternately, Purchase a Testimonials Widget Premium license.

I think at one point I had the paid version and downgraded but I can’t recall maybe that is something left in the DB from the previous paid version? There is no license field on the free version

@saurabhd Thanks. But very often the dashboard shows an alert asking me to provide license key or to buy the same.

I see the this “requires license” in the error logs of every site that uses this plugin followed by “creating default object from empty value..”
