• Bee using mailpoet for years with no problems but after update today it crashed my blog. Deleted the plugin folder and then I was able to access my blog again. Uploaded a backup of the plugin from yesterday and it worked. Stopped the “upgrade plugin” message by changing the version to a high number in editor, Can someone let me know when this is fixed I LOVE mailpoet

  • Hi Bob, we still don’t know what’s causing this issue. We need more information from the users which were affected by this, like PHP version or hosting company in order to find out what’s going on.

I am having the same issue on criticalmaterials.org . Here is my version info:

    PHP Version 5.2.17
    Hosting Company: GoDaddy
    WP Version: 4.7.1

Hope this helps! Please let me know if there is any other information I can get to you or tips/tricks I can try, as we rely on MailPoet for our customers. Thank you very much for the support!

Running into same problem. not able to activate mailpoet after latest update
    a day ago..
Everything was fine for almost 2 years wth all updates
right now I could not activate it at all with this message appearing:

“Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error…”

    Hosting Company: hostgator
    WP Version: 4.7.1

@techcetdev and @mpower011 thanks for the info. You all need to update your PHP version to 5.6: https://docs.mailpoet.com/article/32-how-to-prepare-my-site-for-mailpoet-3-0

PROBLEM SOLVED, update of php to 5.6 version has SOLVED the problem. mailpoet 2.7.6 is working right now. Thank you very much
