See screenshots. Here is the progression to recreate problem:
1.) Create Event and allow start date/time to pass. i.e., create event that starts two hours from now.
2.) After the start date/time have passed, edit the event and change the date/time to a point in the future. i.e., change the date/time to tomorrow.
    3.) Update/save the Event.
4.) The event now shows as “Scheduled” in the event admin list and it cannot be changed to “Published”.

    Hi,

EventPrime events are always saved in the ‘Published’ state. Also, there is no option to change it to anything other than ‘Published’.

From your screenshot, it appears another plugin has added an option to change the status of the Event. Are you using any other plugin which allows overriding the status of posts on your WordPress site? ?

Thank you. You are right – something else is causing this. We setup a staging site and this does not happen with only EventPrime installed with the Twenty-Twenty Three theme.

I’ll reply as resolved and will post later when I find out what is causing the issue – so that other people can benefit. Thank you again!

    P.S. love your plugin.

Did you ever find what plugin is doing this? I am in the same boat. I have the same sort of options for my events but not sure which plugin is causing the issue.
