Update button redirects to account page

    Hi,

    When I try to update a product and press the update button, I am redirected to my user area on my webshop. The same happens when I change an order to completed using the same button. But if I bulk update, I don’t have the same issue. I also tested updating a blog post to see if it was only woocommerce products, but it is that exact button that is the cause of it.

    I can publish just fine. But when the button changes to update, it redirect me to the user area and doesn’t save anything.

  • I would suggest you check for a plugin conflict.

    Are your plugins/themes/WP all up to date?

    You can use the site health check plugin to make it easy to disable plugins and test your site.

    Thank you for the suggestion Chris.

    Everything was updated and there was no plugin conflict. I tried to update a product in a staging environment and it worked fine with the exact same settings.

    It turns out that it was an .htaccess error and was easily fixed by pressing Save in my permalinks settings.
