    After editing some existing post or page and clicking the Update button, the loading animation / circle starts to turn, but nothing happens.

    This is the network debug on the backend:
    admin-ajax.php gets called multiple times ad infinitum:

    {"result":1,"message":"Validation successful","errors":0}
    next:
    {"wp-refresh-post-lock":{"new_lock":"1440061472:2"},"wp-auth-check":true,"server_time":1440061472}
    next:
    {"wp-refresh-post-lock":{"new_lock":"1440061497:2"},"wp-auth-check":true,"server_time":1440061497}
    .
    .
    .

    just keeps repeating with new values ad infinitum (animated loading indicator forever)

    Once I reload the page nothing is saved.

    Basically blocks me from updating content.

    I tried to turn off caching plugin (nginx cache purge on post update), but this didn’t resolve the issue.
