    Hello,

When I load the Elementor editor, the green Update button is always enabled, even before I start editing. If I click the Update button, whether I edit the page or not, it gets disabled but the next time I go into this page or any other page, the button is enabled again.

This makes it difficult to tell if I actually made a change or not or if hitting the button will modify my existing design.

    Please advise.

  • Hi,

Can you send me your site URL?

This is a development site and I would prefer not to post the URL in this forum.

I’m not sure what you would be looking for with the the site URL?

Is there some other way to look into this issue?

    Hi,
    No problem.

    Are you using Elemenetor Pro?
In addition, could you send me a screenshot of the issue?

    I am using Elementor.

Here’s a screen shot but it only shows the green UPDATE button enabled. It’s enabled the moment I enter the editor.

Do get any kinds of Errors?
I am guessing that it’s happening to you on all of your pages? Or just in a specific one?

Can you send us a screenshot of your Errors on your System info?

Hello, it happens on every page, no errors. It’s green as soon as I enter the Elementor editor.

    Hi,

It might be a conflict with your theme or plugins,

Please follow these steps, and let me know if it solved your issue:

    – Deactivate all of your plugins except Elementor. If this solves the problem, gradually activate your plugins one by one, until you spot the problematic plugin.

    – switch your WordPress theme to WordPress Twenty-nine-teen (or other default WordPress theme) temporarily – and see if it solves your error.

I hope this information helped you.

Hello, neither of your suggestions worked.

All plugins except Elementor were disabled and Twenty Twenty Two was activated.

The editor button was still Green on entry.

    Hi,

After checking on my end, this is the editor’s default.

Every page you enter will have the green button enabled until you click on it once.
At the moment we do not have a way to change it.

I am sorry for the inconvenience it is causing you.

So the default state of the Update button is enabled even if no changes have been made?

    Hi,

    Yes.
The button is enabled when you enter any page in editor mode until you click on it once.

    @yourbudweiser Are you ok?

I guess so. It sounds counter-intuitive that when I enter the Elementor editor, the Update button would be enabled when no updates have been made.
