Update broke site

I am using the Hemingway theme from the repository, and ever since the last update no Ultimate Post widgets will display. At all.
I have tried reverting to 1.8.1 with no luck –nothing is visible any more.
I see other people have had this issue, but no concrete fixes. Anyone have any guidance?
