Update broke Robogallery

it’s very sad to hear that you disappointed with Robo gallery. We’re do our best from your first yesterday post to help you to find the reason and solution for every described problem.

Last update was the biggest update of the gallery core structure from the first gallery release.
We begin a new life cycle of the gallery where we have plans to add huge amount of new functionality modules, new views and integrations. Some of this code already included in 3.0 release, some on final testing stages, some on development stage.
During next 2-4 months Robo gallery will have much more new functionality.

It wasn’t possible to leave old structure for development of the new gallery functionality in effective way.

Sorry for any inconvenience, but we do our best to minimize conflicts. We did huge amount of tests during last few months to avoid and fix most of the plausible problems. But it’s not possible to avoid ALL problems with all configurations which exist online on test location.

1. Yes, you contact support, we help you to find your password and guide you to download new key. New key should fix it. Unfortunately you didn’t send any test account which make us able to check everything directly on your page.

2. This is strange, but we’ll try to replicate such case in our gallery tests. Some more details of such problem will be really appreciated.

3.It’s could happening in the case if have old key version. Please make sure that you have gallery version 3.0.1 and key version 2.1

4. We do right now additional tests to replicate this problem on gallery test location. Some additional information about this Yoast related problem will be really appreciated.

We trying to improve our gallery and this is one huge step forward, sorry for any inconvenience, but we’re really do our best to minimize conflicts or any problems related with this update.

In any case we’ll fix every single problem which you have. We just need some time to accomplish it.

My website is what I’m getting a large part of my income from at the moment, so I’m not prepared to give anyone any login details for anything.

In the previous version of Robogallery all my galleries were in a drop down list and in each new gallery I selected a source that I wanted to import the style from. Now there are only 4 galleries in the drop down list in alphabetical order. I uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin and the key but still have the problem.

I already updated the key to 2.1 and gallery to 3.01. The problem with galleries having different styles did not change after I updated. All my plugins are set to auto-update.

4. We do right now additional tests to replicate this problem on gallery test location. Some additional information about this Yoast related problem will be really appreciated.

My galleries would not load at all and just displayed the loading icon. I uninstalled all my plugins and found that disabling Yoast allowed the galleries to load. I turned on and off every setting in Yoast but the problem is still there. This happens when I load galleries using the gallery URL. They seem to load ok when I use the shortcode. I have 170+ galleries so I’m not going to replace the gallery URL on each page with the shortcode.

2. We have replicated this bug. So today we’ll release update with fix of this problem with clone source list.

3. Which types converted gallery items have? I mean in gallery list you should have full list of the gallery items could you please check type column ?

4. We’re still looking for solution with Yoast. If you provide more details, maybe some screenshots would be really helpful.

Pro Key and Pro Features are locked my Key is at 1.5 and Ive been to your site but no way to login to my account and access license key or download. I have a ticket submitted. Lets see if we can get this solved quick so I can rock the robo

We have committed new gallery version 3.0.2

There included fixes for the php compatibility, images ordering, Yoast compatibility fix and clone sources list fix.

Please try to update your gallery to the version 3.0.2 it’s should help to fix all issues on your page.

I have the same problem and lost the pro-functionality!

Today’s update to version 3.0.2 fixed this problem for us. (We are on PHP 7.3)

I’m also have limited list of the gallery names in clone source field in gallery settings. Is there any fix for it ?

I have 50+ gallery items in gallery list screen, but in source field only four of them.

@bulletrainy, could you please create separate ticket for this issue. We’ll check it more close.

Right now we do additional gallery tests to make sure that we fixed all latest bugs which was described here.

Please post your request with additional description. Please post there version of the wordpress, your gallery version and php version.
