• Just updated to new version. Immediately noticed all the pages I have marked to hide on default primary menu are showing on primary menu. Checked to see if that option was still selected on all pages and they are. Went to add new post and got a non-editable page saying you are editing a post that shows all posts or some crap. Then I logged out and I cannot log back in either with user/pass or wordpress.com login. WTF.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Have you tried:
    – deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Seventeen, etc.) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

I restored the whole install to the day before now everything works. There was simultaneously the wordpress install to 4.9.4 , jetpack 5.8 and my theme. So I’m gonna do another backup and then try one at a time.
