    I updated to the new release and when I click to duplicate a page it just takes me to the main list of posts. It does not work like it did before which was simple and easy. Now I have to roll back. Disappointed with the QC on this and the main Yoast plugin as of late.

    we did some tests with Autoptimize plugin configured with the settings you provided us, but unfortunately we weren’t able to reproduce the bug.
    Moreover, the author for Autoptimize has confirmed that his plugin performs optimizations only on the front-end, so it shouldn’t be involved in the issue since it’s happening in the backend.

    We would like to help you with this but we would need more informations:

    1. Do you have the chance to look at your webserver’s error log to see if any error or notice is raised when you try to clone an item unsuccessfully?
    2. Do you have any other plugin installed that might have effects in the backend? (The best way to isolate any incompatibility would be to de-activate the plugins one by one to see which one is causing the issue, but we understand it’s not always possible to do that in a production environment)

    1 – not when we had it installed, we rolled back immediately. Let us see if we can perhaps do upgrade again and that over the weekend and see if we get an error in the webserver logs. we can then roll back if needed but once we have that data.

    2. – yes we have a number of plugins and it is a production environment. let’s see if we can find something in 1 first and then go from there.

    if anyone else’s report generated any code tweaks (like a beta version) we can try that too if available. just let us know. thank you.

    thank you for every info you may be able to provide us with those tests.
    We tested different settings for Autoptimize (since there was another user who was experiencing the same issue) but no results for them too.

    I am having this same issue when duplicating a custom post (SportsPress event.) I do not have Autoptimize plugin active on my site. I also tried deactivating all other plugins and the issue continued. Duplicating works for pages and posts, but for my SportsPress posts, it redirects to the posts page instead of duplicating.
