Update broke my website

    Hi, I was just about to go to bed, I saw that your plugin needed updating. So I updated it and then it totally broke my website.

    I don’t know how to fix this.

    This is the error I get when I go to my website.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘, expecting ‘)’ in /home1/b0x/htdocs/www/designem.co.nz/wp-content/plugins/mashsharer/includes/header-meta-tags.php on line 578

  • Please remove the plugin completely via ftp from wp-content/plugins/mashsharer

    I am already working on a fix which will be released in the next few minutes.

    Have same problem. When upgrading from 2.5.5 to 3.0.2… post content just disappears. I had to revert back to 2.5.5

    All my content dissapears if I place Mashshare at the top of any post or page. It also appears twice. How do I roll back to 2.5.5?

    @dannyo78 If you set the position to “top+bottom” your content will come back.

    Obviously this is just a temp solution but I’m sure Rene will fix this soon.

    PS. Rene, I just submitted a support ticket on your site about this issue. Most likely you are already aware of this since people have posted about it here so feel free to ignore my ticket. I’ll just wait for the fix.

    @Dannyyo78 Im having the same problems…i used WP Rollback plugin to set mine back to 3.0 until they fix it

    @whistlerdan Thanks mate, Top+Bottom works fine. I’ll use that setting until a fix is sorted ??

    Just downloaded and installed the 3.0.4. (for the first time – not updated previous version) and once I clicked “Activate plugin” the site totally crashed. This is the error:

    HTTP ERROR 500
    ———————

    Then I entered into the server and deleted the plugin folder. The site went back to normal.

    Please so something ?? I like the plugin ?? Or at least a the moment tell me which safe previous version to download (will be nice if somebody gives me a download link) thanks!

    I’m using WordPress version 4.5.2, I suppose that’s the PHP version.

    But, the share counter starts from “0”. I thought that this plugin shows by default large number of shares (even if they don’t really exist)… I actually really need that feature…?

    Ups… sorry.. got it ?? But I really think I didn’t see that option in the General menu (General settings) available once the plugin was installed. However.. it’s here now.. and working good.
