Hi @aramaz, we aren’t making any money from “Lite”. Easing Slider “Lite” is a free project we happily maintain in conjunction to our premium offerring, Easing Slider “Pro”.
We tried very hard to make it clear that we had major upgrades coming. We put this message into the header of the plugin over three months beforehand. I’m sorry if you missed it. See the screenshot below taken from v1.2.1

This message linked to a blog post which was very informative and thorough in explaining what was to come. It was released in November 2012. We tried all measures possible to keep users informed.
Be sure to import your settings from the update after upgrading. That’s all that should be required. I’m happy to help if you wish to troubleshoot any issues that are occurring.
Here is a video guide to importing your settings.
We’ve tried to put as many measures as possible in place to make the transition between versions seamless. However, if jQuery errors or bugs within other plugins/theme have caused errors then there is not much I can do about that.
All of the old shortcodes, PHP functions, etc, should still work. No changes on this part should be required.
None-the-less, very sorry about the inconvenience caused.
