Hi – just thought you should know: The latest update breaks the built-in featured slider function in the theme Hueman by Press Customizr. The theme is available for free .org-install an has well over 70.000 active installs. Might be a good idea to look into it? I guess the update then also can break similar functionality in other themes.

  • Hi MrMountain, I just installed their theme on my test server, which is local so I cannot show you. Nothing broke.

Can you provide a link to your site, so that I may see? This is the only way I can help.

You can send to me here: info @ wp-studio . net

    Thanks for letting me know!

I will mail you a link immediately. You defined featured posts with featured images and got the slider running before testing?

Yes, I have featured posts with images, and slider is turned on. It’s working.

But you might try refreshing these files, also. I changed a lot of stuff with these four files, and they might be caching in your browser. “View Source” for the web page, then open each of those files on a separate tab, and then refresh the files.

Let me know if that solves the issue. I think it might be the problem.

Thanks, that did the trick for me! The problem was browser caching. I′m sorry I didn′t test this before posting here. Hopefully, this conversation will help other with similar issues.

Hi @mrmountain, this is awesome news! It’s okay about not testing it, you had no idea and browsers are caching stronger it seems.

Thanks for the update and posting it here ??

    Cheers, Rob

Thanks, clearing the browsers cache fixed the same issue for my clients site too ??
