Update and plug in pages don't appear

  • I run several WP sites (all on the same server/host), and have had no problem with the auto uploads, except on one site I can no longer see the update-core.php or plugins.php pages in the wp-admin/ directory. All my sites are self-installed, so I’m not using Cpanel or other auto-install system.

    The site runs fine, and it’s running on 3.3.2

    I tried dowloading an archived version of 3.3.2 and uploading the update-core.php file (after naming the old one update-core-old.php), but this didn’t solve the problem.

    I’ve looked around at support pages, and not been able to find an answer. Any suggestions?

    PS. When I click on those links, I just get a blank page back, no server or other errors (when I look at the page code in the returned page, there is nothing on the page).
