Hi! I’m testing MainWP since yesterday. It seems to be a very cool plugin!
    But here’s my first issue:
MainWP wants to update plugins that are up to date. And wants to update to versions that even don’t exsist. That’s strange.

    Hi @meisterleise,

Thanks for reaching out. I will be happy to help.

First, can you please provide me more details about the plugins in the issue? I have been trying to find these plugins, but I couldn’t. It seems like these are just customized (The7 branded) versions of the following plugins:

If you follow the links, you will find changelogs for these 2 plugins and see that the versions detected by the MainWP are actually correct versions.

The only thing that I don’t understand is why the versions on your site have the The7 prefix? If this is something that is customized by the The7 team, you will have to reach out to them and have them check what is wrong with the system for detecting updates.

    Thanks

    Ah okay, now I understand!
Yes, these are branded plugins of the theme The7. So MainWP finds the original plugins but the The7-Team hasn’t rolled out there customized version.

This is probably a small shortcoming that we have to live with.
Thank you for you detailed answer.

    Hi @meisterleise,

thanks for getting back to me and verifying that.

My best guess is that the The7 team renamed pulgins while the plugin slug is still orginal so that is why the MainWP detects updates of the original plugins.

Might be best to check wiht the The7 team about this and have them check what can be done.

    Best regards.
